Here are Xiaomi devices that missing out the upcoming MIUI 15 update.

Official release date of MIUI 15 is not out yet but we expect it to be revealed very soon. Xiaomi reveals newer versions of MIUI usually at the end of the year, MIUI 15 might be introduced at the end of 2023. Xiaomi has not provided an official statement regarding the launch date of MIUI 15.

Xiaomi devices to receive MIUI 15 update

The list of devices we are sharing is an estimation, but we believe it to be highly accurate. Let’s check some old Xiaomi devices that may get MIUI 15 update, you’re lucky to get MIUI 15 update if you still use one of these devices.

We expect devices among Mi 10 series to receive MIUI 15. These devices were introduced in 2020 and have already received Android 13, Mi 10 series is very likely to get MIUI 15. Mi 11 series on the other hand will also get MIUI 15 update but we exclusively focused on old devices in this list.

  • Mi 10
  • Mi 10 Pro
  • Mi 10 Ultra
  • Mi 10S

Mi 10T / 10T Pro which are essentially a kind of sibling of the Mi 10 series, may also receive the MIUI 15 update. But keep in mind that the Mi 10 series received MIUI 14 based on Android 13, while Mi 10T series runs MIUI 14 based on Android 12. It is less likely to receive MIUI 15 update than Mi 10 series but we believe these devices will get MIUI 15.

  • Mi 10T
  • Mi 10T Pro
  • Redmi K30S
  • Redmi K30 Pro
  • POCO F2 Pro

POCO X3 uses the same processor as Mi 11 Lite so there’s a chance that the POCO X3 will get the MIUI 15 update as well. Mi 11 Lite will definitely get MIUI 15 update as it was released in 2021 and since it shares similar specs as POCO X3, we assume that POCO X3 will get MIUI 15 update.

  • POCO X3
  • POCO X3 NFC

“Redmi A” and “POCO C” series are Xiaomi’s budget friendly devices and these devices were introduced recently, so much so that Redmi A1 was introduced in late 2022, actually a few months ago.

We expect these devices to receive the MIUI 15 update, but the Redmi A1 series and other devices haven’t even received the MIUI 14 update yet. We think this is because Xiaomi is offering an old chipset to reduce costs. If these devices will get MIUI 15, the update will roll out a little later than other devices.

  • Redmi A1
  • Redmi A1+
  • POCO C40
  • POCO C50

Redmi Note 10 and Redmi 10 series are also among the phones that might receive MIUI 15 update, updates for entry level devices may be released late just like Redmi A and POCO C series smartphones.

  • Redmi Note 10
  • Redmi Note 10 Lite
  • Redmi Note 10 Power
  • Redmi 10C
  • Redmi 10A
  • Redmi 10 India

It is not yet certain whether Redmi Note 9 Pro and other devices will receive the MIUI 15 update, but our guess is that they will not, since these devices are now old and in the entry level – midrange category, Xiaomi may deprive MIUI 15 from the Note 9 series.

  • Redmi Note 9 Pro
  • Redmi Note 9 Max
  • Redmi Note 9S

Xiaomi devices that won’t receive MIUI 15 update

Here are some Xiaomi devices that won’t get the latest update, this list is not based on our estimation. Xiaomi releases “End of Support” list regularly, the devices in the list won’t get any software updates.

Xiaomi recently added Mi 10 Youth to the EOS List, which indicates that update support for the device has been ended. Since Mi 10 Youth will no longer receive updates, we can be sure that other devices sharing similar specs with Mi 10 Youth will not receive MIUI 15 either.

  • Mi 10 Lite 5G
  • Mi 10 Youth
  • Mi 10T Lite
  • Mi 10i 5G

Redmi K30 devices are among the devices that won’t get MIUI 15 update, these devices are already in Xiaomi’s EOS list.

  • Redmi K30
  • Redmi K30 5G
  • Redmi K30 Racing
  • Redmi K30i

We stated that it is not certain whether Redmi Note 9 Pro will receive MIUI 15 update but it is unlikely that it receives MIUI 15. Redmi Note 9 series will definitely not receive MIUI 15 update.

  • Redmi Note 9
  • Redmi Note 9 5G
  • Redmi Note 9T

Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X 5G are also among the devices that will not receive Xiaomi’s latest update. Just like the Redmi Note 9 series and even the Note 9 Pro will not receive the MIUI 15 update, the Redmi 9 series will not receive the latest MIUI 15 update.

  • Redmi 10X 5G
  • Redmi 9
  • Redmi 9C
  • Redmi 9A
  • Redmi 9 Prime
  • Redmi 9i
  • Redmi 9 Power
  • Redmi 9T

We expect some entry level POCO devices to not receive the update either, as POCO X2 is in Xiaomi’s EOS list. Since other POCO devices carry similar specifications as POCO X2, these devices will not receive MIUI 15 update either.

  • POCO M2
  • POCO M2 Pro
  • POCO M3
  • POCO X3 NFC
  • POCO X2
