Apple just announced its new iOS 26. Yes, you heard it right. From iOS 18, they went steep to iOS 26. The firm has done this to simplify the name of its OS across different platforms. For example, macOS latest version is now macOS 26 Tahoe. There is VisionOS 26, WatchOS 26 and so on. A new “Liquid Glass” design has been introduced throughout the system as well.
Apple has already started releasing the Developer Beta of iOS 26. Public Beta will be rolled out in July and stable update will follow later. So if you want to experience the iOS 26 before everyone else, then you can register for Developer Beta and start using it right now. However, we recommend against it primarily because of the fact that this Beta is intended only for Developers as it can have some serious bugs and issues.

Step 1: Open Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Go to “General” and then tap on “Software Updates.”
Step 3: Now tap on “Beta Updates” option on the page.
Step 4: You will see the registration of iOS 26 Beta here. You can see either the Developer Beta or Public Beta, depending on when you are visiting the page. Select the Beta option.
Step 5: Now go back to Software Updates page and you will see the Beta update being made available to you. You can now proceed to install it.
