Apple has officially revealed the dates for the upcoming World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025. The event will kick off on Monday, June 9. During the keynote presentations, the company is expected to unveil the next iteration of its mobile operating system, iOS 19. The upcoming iOS version has been a hot topic online for quite some time, with numerous rumors suggesting a significant UI redesign, reportedly inspired by VisionOS.
Now, a fresh report indicates that this major UI overhaul—potentially the biggest interface change in iOS history—will also extend to Apple TV and Apple Watch.

iOS 19 design change will extend to Apple Watch and Apple TV
Popular Apple analyst Mark Gurman of Bloomberg had previously reported that the upcoming versions of Apple’s new user interface, the iOS 19, the iPadOS 19 and the macOS 16 will get a new design change. He reports that the new UI design will add transluency throughout the system to provide a glass-like apperance. The change will draw the inspiration from the VisionOS.
Now in his recent Power On newsletter, the analyst had reported that the design change will extend to the Apple TV’s user interface and watchOS 12 of the Apple Watch as well. By doing this, Apple wants to provide a similar UI experience throughout its products.
The new design of iOS 19 is reportedly codenamed “Solarium” which is a room with glass wall that allows in sunlight. This codename also hints at the upcoming transcluent glass-inspired design change. Well, since the launch is not too far now, let’s just wait to get our first official look at the new user interface design.
