Xiaomi’s Redmi K-Series, known for its balance of high-end features and competitive pricing, is set to see a price increase with its upcoming release. Redmi launched the Redmi K70 Series last year in China and the phones already saw a slight price bump over the previous generation. However, the next version of Redmi K series device, very possibly Redmi K90 Series, may get a major price increase.

Famous Chinese Blogger Digital Chat Station today revealed that Redmi is planning to make price and configuration adjustments in the next generation of K series phones. He said that the Pro variant might touch the 4-5k yuan price segment which is the territory of its parent company Xiaomi.
Despite the anticipated price hike, Xiaomi is likely to position the new Redmi K device as a value-for-money option compared to competitors in the same segment. Users can still expect cutting-edge features like flagship performance, premium design, good durability and the good cameras making it a strong contender in the market.
