OnePlus 13T was recently launched in mainland China. It was introduced to the market as the company’s first compact flagship. Unfortunately, the device was only available in China. The successor will be released next year, and while we still have a long way to go, a recent leak has disclosed some of its key features.

OnePlus 15T will get Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, huge battery
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station had shed light on the key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 15T, the successor of OnePlus 13T. He later deleted the post because of some undisclosed reason so keep that in mind.
Anyway, as per the information, the OnePlus 15T will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile chipset. And this should be obvious given that the OnePlus 13T is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. Regarding its naming, the company will most likely name it as “15” as the digit “4” is considered unlucky in the Chinese tradition.
Moreover, the tipster claims that the device will pack a battery bigger than the OnePlus 15. Now this sounds interesting as it’s going to be a compact flagship and despite that, it’s going to pack a larger battery than the full-sized flagship device. For reference, the OnePlus 13T packs a 6,260mAh battery which is larger than the 6,000mAh battery present on the OnePlus 13.
Going further, the device is said to pack similar 6.3-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The biometrics are going to be upgraded as it is tipped to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner against the current optical fingerprint scanner. The device is said to launch in China in first half of 2026.
