OnePlus and realme phones with 24 GB RAM will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3!

Android phones are stepping up their game with the introduction of variants equipped with a whopping 24 GB RAM, among the pioneers in this category is the highly awaited OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. This was a rumor shared by DCS initally, but it was confirmed by Red Magic later on.

We tell it as confirmed by Red Magic since OnePlus has not yet shared a teaser image yet, but it has been confirmed that Red Magic will unveil a gaming phone with whopping 24 GB RAM.

OnePlus and realme phones with 24 GB RAM to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset

A recent post by DCS suggests that phones featuring 24 GB RAM will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Moreover, there are indications of a variant with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 16 GB of RAM as well, likely to be seen on OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and upcoming realme phones.

It’s worth noting that OnePlus Ace 2 Pro won’t be the sole player in the 24 GB RAM segment, it seems that Chinese smartphone manufacturers are striving to establish this impressive RAM capacity as their new standard. Consequently, we may see many new phones with 24 GB of RAM in the near future.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be manufactured using TSMC’s cutting-edge N4P process. The chipset’s architecture will feature a 1+5+2 configuration, consisting of 1 Cortex-X4 core, 5 Cortex-A720 cores, and 2 Cortex-A520 cores. This powerful combination ensures a top notch performance.
