The OPPO group seems to be going through a major revamp in its smartphone strategy. The OnePlus recently launched its new compact flagship, the OnePlus 13T in China. The OPPO, on the other hand, is reportedly working on a gaming oriented smartphone that will bring an active cooling fan. This is going to be the first of its kind device coming from the house of OPPO.
OPPO K series device with gaming oriented features will launch soon
As per the tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO is working on a new K series device, which he addresses as “K Turbo” on his post. The device is going to be purely performance-oriented, meaning it will target those looking for gaming and performance heavy device.

The tipster reveals that the OPPO K Turbo device is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Since it’s not employing the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite, we can expect the device to target mid-range segment. Further, the device will have an active cooling fan which will be integrated into the camera deco.
The air outlet of the cooling fan will be on the side. The fan may help the device or the chipset to run cooler in graphic intensive tasks and therefore providing better overall performance. The device will be also IPX8 rated. It will have RGB light, plastic middle frame and an optical fingerprint for the biometrics.
Per the tipster, the device will launch in China on either June or July. However, there are literally no words on the global debut of the device yet. It may or may not land in the overseas market.
