Redmi K70
There aren’t huge differences between Redmi K70E and Redmi K70, but we can say that the minor differences are indeed important. Simply put, the differences between the two phones lie in the chipset, display, and camera setup.
Redmi K70 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which is the flagship processor used on most of the early 2023 flagships, Redmi K70 has also the 16GB+1TB variant and the base variant of the K70 comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Redmi K70 comes with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and as Xiaomi states, this phone boasts an impressive 4000 nits of maximum brightness, which is quite incredible for a smartphone. To put this into perspective, comparing it with the display of Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is one of the largest OLED display manufacturers, the S23 Ultra has a maximum brightness of 1750 nits. Xiaomi has set a new standard in screen brightness. Redmi K70 features a Chinese made display instead of Samsung’s OLED. Redmi K70 also has a 2160Hz touch sampling rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming.
The phone is equipped with 5000 mAh battery paired with 120W wired charging. Redmi K70 features triple camera setup with 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra wide angle camera and 2 MP macro camera. The phone can shoot videos up to 8K resolution at 24 FPS. Redmi K70 supports 60 FPS video recording on 4K resolution as well. Redmi K70’s main camera sensor is Light Hunter 800, and that sensor is 1/1.55-inches in size. This is a Redmi phone but it seems Xiaomi wants to deliver premium camera experience even on budget friendly Redmi models, the main camera of Redmi K70 has f/1.6 aperture which is same as flagship Xiaomi 14‘s main camera.
Redmi K70 Pro
Xiaomi’s Redmi K70 Pro, which is literally a flagship offering, comes with high-end features. It is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and even has a model with a whopping 24 GB RAM. The phone features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Just like the K70, Redmi K70 Pro also boasts a 6.67-inch 2K resolution display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 2160 Hz, and support for 3840 Hz PWM dimming.
Thanks to its 5000 mAh battery and Surge P2 and G1 chips, the Redmi K70 Pro supports 120W fast charging. Redmi K70 Pro features a 1/1.55-inch LightHunter 800 sensor and f/1.6 aperture. Additionally, Redmi K70 Pro comes with a 2x telephoto camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, supporting 8K video at 24FPS and 4K video at 60FPS.
