Samsung is preparing for the release of its first slim and light-weight device, Samsung the Galaxy S25 Edge. The brand had teased the device a long back. The device was originally meant to launch this month, in April. However, the launch was reportedly postponed due to unknown reasons. A recent report claimed that the device will now launch in May 13. However, another report has now popped up online claiming its launch day for both global market and the Korean market, along with the price.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is launching on May 13 in South Korea and on May 30 in the US
A popular Korean publication FNNNews claims that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will launch first in the South Korean market and later in the US. It will launch in South Korea on May 13th and then in the US on May 30th. The pre-order period will go live from May 14th until May 20th whereas the original sale will commence from May 23rd in South Korea.
As per the report, the device will be launched in China and South Korea on the same day. It will launch later in the US but there’s no word on the global launch. We speculate that the global launch will happen on the same day as US.
The report also reveals that the Galaxy S25 Edge will come in 256GB and 512GB storage variants. The former variant may be priced at KRW 1.5 million (roughly $1,049) and KRW 1.63 million (roughly $1,140). However, expect the gadget to be priced on the higher side for the global markets.
