Some people believe that the Samsung Galaxy Ultra is the face of Android flagship. And it is partially true as well. However, the flagship has never featured extreme hardware specifications, especially when you take the OPPO and Vivo’s flagship into consideration. However, many fans were expecting that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra will bring some upgraded camera hardware. The most recent leak, however, contradicts this.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s leaked camera specifications
As per a report from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5X optical zoom. The same lens has been already used on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra. It’s going to have a not-so-large 1/2.52-inch camera sensor with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and optical image stabilization support.
It is worth mentioning that the early reports suggests that Samsung may switch to a single telephoto lens feature a 200-megapixel ISOCELL camera sensor.
Details about other auxiliary lenses is yet to be revealed. There have been no major updates about it so far. However, it looks like Samsung is going to cost-cut on some areas to keep the price same as its predecessor, despite facing the challenges related to global tax politics and tarrifs.
