You probably know about the mess with the One UI 7 update. Samsung used to be quick with major Android updates, but things went wrong with One UI 7 and Android 15. The rollout was super slow, so much so that some budget and mid-range phones still haven’t gotten it. Now, Samsung seems to be learning from its mistake and is already working on the One UI 8 beta to avoid another delay.
Samsung may soon launch its One UI 8 beta testing program
As per an information, Samsung has reportedly started showing the One UI 8 beta program banner in the Samsung Members App. The banner can be seen in multiple regions, including and not limited to the mainland South Korea. However, the registration link is still not live.
But the One UI 8 beta program banner is enough for us to predict that Samsung has already started testing the One UI 8 internally and we can expect the public beta program or closed beta program to go live in the upcoming weeks.

Google has already released its Android 16 operating system, much ahead of its usual release timeline. And therefore, all the major Android OEMs, including Samsung, are pressurized to work on releasing the latest version of Android to their devices as soon as possible. And since there’s enough buzz about the One UI 8 rollout lately, the Samsung might ace the rollout this time. But let’s wait a few more weeks to gather more information on the same.
