Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AnTuTu Benchmark result exposed on Chinese social media!

Qualcomm has announced that the Snapdragon Summit event is scheduled for October and the benchmark results of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on AnTuTu have surfaced on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo.

However, it’s important to note that the production version of phones using Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is not yet finalized, so these results may not be final either. We have tested Xiaomi 13 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 recently scored around 1.5M points in AnTuTu v10 benchmark, the v10 version of AnTuTu was just introduced a couple days ago.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AnTuTu Benchmark result

Based on the photo shared by the Chinese user, the phone equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 achieved a score of 1,771,106 points in AnTuTu v10. This represents an improvement of approximately 20% percent compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

DCS previously announced that the Gen 3 achieved a single-core score of 2200 and a multi-core score of 7000 in Geekbench 6. To make a comparison with iPhone, Apple A16 chipset scored around 2500 points for single-core and 6200 points for multi-core in Geekbench 6.

It’s certainly impressive for a Snapdragon chipset to surpass Apple’s chipset, but there is a possibility that Apple’s A17 may be even faster than the Gen 3 once it’s released. Nevertheless, it’s worth noting the significant speed increase compared to the previous Snapdragon processor.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be manufactured using TSMC’s advanced N4P process and will feature a 1+5+2 core architecture. It consists of 1 Cortex-X4 core, 5 Cortex-A720 cores, and 2 Cortex-A520 cores. The prime core of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 operates at a frequency of 3.36 GHz, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will have a frequency of 3.7 GHz.
