realme GT3, the highly anticipated smartphone with its remarkable 240W fast charging, made its initial appearance in China under the realme GT Neo5 branding. This is followed by Mobile World Congress (MWC) and it’s been revealed under realme GT3 branding which is the one that will be available globally. You might think it’s just a rebranded smartphone, that’s actually correct but they have minor differences.
realme GT3 with 240W charging
Leaks and rumors surrounding the upcoming release of the realme GT3 have surfaced, further fueling the excitement among tech enthusiasts. A tech blog account on Twitter recently shared a teaser image of the realme GT3, unveiling the official launch date as June 14th. realme GT3 was showcased at MWC, but it was not available for purchase at that time.
realme GT3 boasts an astonishing feature of 240W fast charging, allowing users to reach 20% battery capacity in just approximately 80 seconds. Furthermore, the phone can be fully charged in a mere 9 minutes. However, it’s worth noting that these charging times were initially reported for realme GT Neo5, the version released in China with the same fast charging capability.
The global variant, the realme GT3, also supports 240W fast charging but comes with a slightly smaller battery capacity of 4600 mAh, as opposed to the 5000 mAh battery in the Chinese model. Consequently, it is reasonable to expect even shorter charging times for the global model.
realme GT3 stands out as a powerful smartphone with its OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. This feature ensures smooth and fluid visuals, providing users with an immersive experience, realme GT3 is equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It’s very easy to call it a performance monster as it has blazing fast charging capabilities and 144 Hz display, the chipset is not the newest but still powerful.
