Vivo S19 series is launching on May 30th with Sony IMX921 lens

Vivo is now preparing for the launch of its upcoming Vivo S19 series of smartphones in China. The leaks and rumors concerning the device have been making rounds on the internet for a lot of time. The official information regarding the launch date is now out.

Vivo has officially announced on its Chinese media handles that the launch date of the Vivo S19 series has been finalized. The devices will be launched in China on May 30th at 19:00 local time. The upcoming device is going to target the audience who wants a good camera on their device. The predecessor Vivo S18 was also famous for its cameras.

According to reports, the Vivo S19 series of mobile phones will include an intelligent “studio-level zoom soft light ring” as well as “light and focus change”: when taking pictures, the soft light ring’s light emission range and light spot focus range will automatically adjust as the mobile phone lens zooms. This will ensure that you get studio-level photos straight from your smartphone.

Furthermore, the Vivo S19 will be the first smartphone in the industry to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 image sensor. That’s not all, it will have a 50-megapixel secondary telephoto zoom lens as well. On the front, it will have an anti-distortion wide-angle selfie camera with dual soft light for amazing selfies. In short, it is going to be a banger in terms of cameras.

The series will have two devices; the Vivo S19 and the S19 Pro. Both the devices will have almost identical specifications. The former will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset while the latter will go with MediaTek Dimensity. The Pro variant will also have a telephoto lens which will be missing on the base.
