Vivo is working on the next-generation of its foldable lineup, the X Fold 5. The device is expected to hit the Chinese market later this month. The firm has been constantly teasing the specifications and features of the device. And now, the Product Manager of Vivo has revealed that the Vivo X Fold 5 will be able to connect seamlessly with an iPhone.
Vivo X Fold 5 will get seamless connectivity with an iPhone
The Product Manager of Vivo, Han Boxiao has confirmed a new and impression “seamless connectivity” feature of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 5. Using this feature, the device will be able to connect with iPhones to offer a seamless cross-platform experience.
This feature will allow the gadget to integrated smoothly with an iPhone. And users will be able to view and access the incoming calls and SMS from their iPhones directly on the Vivo X Fold 5. Let’s suppose, if you receive a call on iPhone and if its connected to the X Fold 5, then you will be able to answer the call directly from Vivo, without even touching the iPhone.
This is going to be a lifesaver feature for those who are going to use an iPhone alongside the X Fold 5. We hope that the company don’t gatekeep this feature to its top-end foldable only. If they rollout the feature to other devices running OriginOS as well, then it would be a great step.
“The Vivo X Fold 5 is set to feature an 8T LTPO panel on both displays, with a smooth 120Hz high refresh rate and likely variable refresh rate support. The peak brightness is rumored to hit an impressive 4,500 nits. On top of that, it’s expected to pack a stellar camera system backed by Zeiss Master Colour calibration. This device has all the makings of a top-tier foldable, but we’ll have to wait and see.
