Vivo X200S live image revealed, flat display and metal frame confirmed

Vivo is getting ready for a big launch event in China, likely happening next month in April. At the event, they’ll introduce several new products, including the Vivo X200 Ultra, the Vivo X200s, the Vivo Pad 4 Pro tablet, and the Vivo Watch 5. But before the official launch, a live image of the Vivo X200s has already surfaced, giving us our first glimpse of its front design.

Vivo X200s live image confirms flat panel, metal frame and wireless charging support

Vivo’s product manager in China, Han Boxiao, has shared an official image of the upcoming Vivo X200s smartphone. The photo reveals that the phone will feature a flat display, unlike the base X200 model, which has a micro-quad curved screen. The image shows the device placed inside a car, and it appears to be charging, hinting that the X200s will support wireless charging.

The image also suggests the phone might have an ultrasonic on-display fingerprint scanner, placed higher up on the screen for easier access. On closer look, we can spot antenna bands on the frame, confirming that the device will feature a metal frame, giving it a more premium feel.

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared the same image on Weibo and confirmed that the device will run on MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400+ chipset. Interestingly, the same chipset is also used in OPPO’s Find X8 flagship.
