Xiaomi has surprisingly improved its update rollout speed, especially after the debut of HyperOS V2. Almost all the eligible flagship models of Xiaomi have grabbed the HyperOS 2 update. Well, it now seems that Xiaomi is preparing for the release of the next sub-version of HyperOS 2 i.e., V2.1. Xiaomi 13 series has allegedly started getting the beta version of it.
HyperOS 2.1 Beta now available for Xiaomi 13 lineup
As per a report, Xiaomi has officially commenced the beta testing of HyperOS 2.1 for the Xiaomi 13 lineup. This is part of the brand’s internal beta testing program, which means only the users who have enrolled and accepted into the program will get the update. Maybe we will see the release of open beta sometime after that.
Anyway, all the three models in lineup: Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 13 Ultra are getting the beta update. The build number of the update is OS2.0.100.0VMCCXM, OS2.0.100.0VMBCNXM and OS2.0.100.0VMACNXM respectively.
As for the changelog, the update brings an improved animation system with support for “simultaneous animations.” This is similar to what we get as “parallel animation rendering” on the OPPO group of devices. A few more changes, such as improving the appearance of the Bluetooth icon in the status bar, adding video beauty to the call toolbox, and making some changes to the Control Centre, have been made.
