The Xiaomi 16 Series will finally switch to the Flat display route for the entire lineup, which includes Xiaomi 16, 16 Pro, and 16 Ultra. The previous two generations have embraced the micro quad curved display, so this was a very surprising decision. A lot of brands have now evaluated the flat displays for their Flagships in the future. Not only this, the 16 Pro will increase the display size to 6.8x inches from the current 6.73 inches on the Xiaomi 15 Series. Xiaomi 16 will continue to follow its small screen route with a 6.36-inch display size.
Another highlight of the Xiaomi 16 Series is that it will use LIPO ( Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology across the entire lineup. This advanced screen technology enables ultra-thin bezels and an immersive screen-to-body ratio. The ultimate goal is to make the black border of the display thinner than 1.1mm, and when combined with the frame, it will have 1.2 mm of symmetrical bezels all around.
So overall, the Xiaomi 16 Series will get major changes in the optical hardware and design. A lot of users wanted a Xiaomi Pro flagship with a flat display, and it will finally be a reality soon.
