Xiaomi official teases upcoming AI powered PC
In a recent livestream, where the brand shared details with consumers about the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra device, the President of Xiaomi, Lu Weibing, confirmed that the company is actively working on launching its first AI PC.
The official did not reveal much information about the gadget. Even the name of the device remains a mystery for now. However, he highlighted one of its standout features: a 99Wh battery. This is one of the highest battery capacities ever seen in a PC. For reference, this capacity sits just below the airline-imposed limit for carry-on electronics.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is also set to launch a laptop in the coming days. The Product Marketing Director at Xiaomi Communications Technology, Ma Zhiyu, recently shared images of the upcoming Redmi laptop’s packaging. While details about the gadget are still scarce, it has been confirmed to feature an Intel Core Ultra i5 chipset.
