Popular tipster Digital Chat Station had previously reported that an unknown smartphone is being tested internally for a cooling fan in the second half of the year. OPPO K-series smartphone with RGB light and cooling fan is in the works

According to DCS, a mysterious K-series device is in the works that could push smartphone cooling systems to a whole new level. He claims that this “mysterious” phone will be the first to test an active cooling system with a built-in cooling fan that even includes an RGB light setup. The device is also rumored to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SM8735 chipset, which is essentially the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Some gaming devices from brands like Red Magic have had active cooling fans before. But what makes the upcoming device stand out remains to be seen. Either way, the tipster also mentioned that the device will come with a battery larger than 7000mAh.

The tipster didn’t mention any specific brand in the post, but it’s likely referring to either OPPO or Redmi. This is mainly because both brands have a K-lineup of devices. OPPO’s K series is aimed at budget and mid-range users, while Redmi’s K lineup focuses on the flagship killer category.
