Oppo is preparing to release a refreshed version of its Find X8 Series as the new Oppo Find X8S Series. The Series contains two phones, the Find X8S and Find X8S+. The series will be announced alongside Find X8 Ultra in an event scheduled to take place on 10th April in China. Today we finally have full comprehensive details regarding Find X8S smartphone.
Oppo Find X8S features a 6.32 inch 120Hz BOE flat display, the display resolution is 1.5k. The display bezel is just 1.25mm which is the narrowest in the world. The device is powered by the newly announced Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ chipset built on advanced TSMC’s 3nm fabrication process, offering significant improvements in CPU and GPU over the previous generation. The battery is also very impressive at 5700mah capacity. The battery is the latest generation of silicon carbon battery paired with fast 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone weighs only 179g and the thickness is just 7.73mm.
Find X8S is equipped with a triple camera setup jointly developed with Hasselblad. 50 MP main camera + 50MP Ultrawide + 50MP 3.5x periscope sensor offering a versatile camera system in a compact form factor. The smartphone is also equipped with IP 68 and IP 69 rating and optical fingerprint scanner.
Overall Oppo Find X8S is equipped with cutting edge hardware in a thin and light yet compact form factor. The smartphone will be initially available only in China with no words on global launch.
