As per our sources, the latest prototypes of Xiaomi 16 are now evaluating the use of an upright floating telephoto lens similar to previous generation Xiaomi 15. This is a major change in the decision as the device was previously leaked to get a periscope camera. However, we cannot 100% confirm whether telephoto will make it to mass production or not but seeing that there are telephoto versions of Xiaomi 16 is a bit alarming. If this happens, it might make many fans disappointed. But since these are all prototype units, the specifications are subjected to change later on.

The Xiaomi 16 Series will finally switch to the Flat display route for the entire lineup, which includes Xiaomi 16, 16 Pro, and 16 Ultra. The Xiaomi 16 will continue to use a 6.36 inch flat screen but this time there are new ideas for the screen. The aspect ratio of the screen will be changed to 19:5:9 and accompanied by a large R angle similar to the latest Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. This will make the front design look more harmonious.
