OnePlus is well-known for providing regular updates to its devices. Staying true to its reputation, the company has just released a new monthly update for its popular OnePlus Pad 2. This update introduces several improvements, including partial screen recording, new widgets, system optimizations, and more.

OnePlus Pad 2 gets a new update with the support of partial screen recording
The latest OxygenOS update for the OnePlus Pad 2 carries the model number OPD2403_15.0.0.801(EX01). The update is being pushed to the Indian, European and the global variant of the device. Apps
- Adds partial screen recording. You can now select a specific area of the screen to record, instead of capturing the entire screen.
- Enhances the UI of the Calendar, Notes and My Files apps to improve the information density and facilitate content drag-and-drop.
System
- Adds new clock widgets. The clock widgets can be added to your Home screen, with options to display current weather conditions and local time.
- The default apps available in Super power saving mode have been revised, and an improved process for adding apps to this mode has been implemented.
- Enhances gesture recognition for closing floating windows; improves shadow effects around floating windows.
- When Quick Settings and the notification drawer are shown in a single panel, one is displayed above the other instead of side by side.
- Integrates the April 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
As of right now, the update is rolling out in batches. So if your device has not received the update yet, then please wait for a few days before it lands on your tablet. You can further check for the update manually by going to Settings >> System & Updates >> Software Update.
