Great news for Galaxy S24 FE owners in the US! Samsung is now rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update, bringing a fresh look and some handy AI features to the Fan Edition model. This comes shortly after the update hit the pricier S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra.

One UI 7 is Back on Track
The update had a bumpy start—Samsung paused it for the S24 series due to some bugs—but now it’s rolling out smoothly. If you have an unlocked S24 FE or one on certain carriers, you can grab the update now by heading to Settings > Software Update. Some carrier-locked models might have to wait until May, though, depending on approval delays.
What’s New in One UI 7?
The S24 FE gets all the same upgrades as its more expensive siblings, including:
- A redesigned interface with new app icons and smoother animations
- A customizable Quick Panel for easier access to settings
- A new battery icon with a cool charging animation
- Galaxy AI features like Audio Eraser (which removes background noise from videos), better Note Assist, and smarter call transcriptions.
- And a lot more.
The update is around 5GB and also includes the April 2025 security patch.
About the Galaxy S24 FE
The S24 FE packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and runs on the Exynos 2400e chip—a slightly toned-down version of the flagship processor. If you’re in the US and own one, check for the update now—it’s a big improvement that makes the phone even better.
