Oppo Find X9 Pro Leaks Reveal 200MP Telephoto Lens and Bigger Battery

Oppo is preparing to make a significant change in the upcoming flagship of its Find X9 Pro smartphone, which is set to arrive around October 2025. Following the launch of the Find X8 Pro last year, the Find X9 Pro is expected to be a major update, especially in the camera department.

More Details

Today, Digital Chat Station has leaked the major imaging change of the Find X9 Pro. The device is going to swap the quad-camera setup of last year’s device for the more refined triple-camera configuration. The notable feature is going to be a single, high-resolution periscope lens sporting an enormous 200MP sensor. Although the blogger has not officially disclosed the details about the new sensor, according to the speculation at the moment, it may be the Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor. With such a powerful sensor, the need for dual periscope lenses vanishes, the camera module is slimmed, and without compromising performance.

On the design side as well, Find X9 Pro will get a major change from the previous generation Find X8 Pro. The Find X9 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch flat display, which comes with LIPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology compared to the micro quad curved display of Find X8 Pro. This technology enables ultra-thin bezels for a near edge-to-edge visual experience with a slim, modern design. Flat displays are coming back to flagship devices due to its practical ergonomic and undeniably quite irritating accidental touch intolerant user.

Battery life is also expected to be upgraded. The Find X9 Pro is likely to have battery capacity greater than 7,000mAh – a jump that is larger than that of its predecessor. Alongside 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities.

Moreover, the Find X9 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 under the hood. The last generation of Find Pro was also powered by a Mediatek chipset. The all-new chipset is expected to lift performance and power efficiency despite as well as AI capabilities.

Overall, Oppo seems ready to redefine its flagship lineup, focusing on camera upgrades, display technology, and battery endurance.
