OnePlus is all-set to launch two of its new devices in China: the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing and OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme Edition. The brand has been teasing the devices since a very long time. The launch is all set to take place on May 27th, which is just a few days after, at 14:30 local time. Now, some of the key specifications of the Ace 5 Extreme Edition has been confirmed.

OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme Edition is going to be performance oriented device. The company, in its latest teaser image, has confirmed that the device will have a 50-megapixel primary wide angle lens that will employ the Sony IMX906 camera lens. The device will have a dual-camera setup, as seen on the official renders. We are speculating that the second lens is mostly going to be ultrawide lens since telephoto is rare at this segment.
Anyway, moving further, the company has also confirmed that the device will feature the new ‘Plus-Key’ replacing the iconic Alert Slider. The Plus-Key was first introduced in the OnePlus 13T and it enables the user to access various functionality such as camera control, sound profile control, AI translation etc. as opposed to limited functionality of the Alert Slider. However, many fans have shown their disagreement with this step of the brand.
Moreover, the device is expected to feature the MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It will also get a Wi-Fi chip G1 to offer improved Wi-Fi performance. It will also get many gaming oriented features. Now since most of its specifications are already out, we are just waiting for the most important part of it–the pricing.
