Redmi Note 14 Series to Launch Soon: Here Are the Leaked Specs and Launch Timeline

Last year, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 13 Series in China. These phones introduced some incremental upgrades over the previous generations. The ‘Redmi Note’ series is the most popular line of the brand, and therefore, everyone is looking forward to the next iteration, the Redmi Note 14 Series.

The Redmi Note 14 Series is said to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display. The standard Redmi Note 14 and Note 14 Pro will have flat displays, whereas the Note 14 Pro+ will boast a dual curved display design with minimal curves on both sides. The displays are expected to be protected by either Gorilla Glass Victus or Victus 2.

Both the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ will feature a 50MP OIS triple camera setup with dual LED flash. The triple camera setup consists of a 50MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens. The body will be made of glass with a plastic middle frame.

The entire series will have ultra-large battery capacities, with both the Redmi Note 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ expected to have batteries exceeding 5500mAh. The Pro+ is expected to continue supporting 120W fast charging. The Redmi Note 14 and Note 14 Pro will feature Snapdragon chipsets, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be equipped with a 4nm Mediatek Dimensity 7350 chipset. Other peripheral features include an X-axis linear vibration motor, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 certification on the Note 14 Pro+ (speculated), dual stereo speakers, and NFC. The phones will boot HyperOS 1.0 and Android 14 right out of the box.

Launch Timeline

The Redmi Note 14 Series was certified in China yesterday. The phones are expected to be released soon, likely in September, starting in China. The global launch could happen as early as the first week of January in India and other countries.

The upcoming Redmi Note 14 Series seems poised to continue Redmi’s legacy of offering feature-rich smartphones at competitive prices.
