We are just a few months away from the unveiling of one of the most anticipated flagship phone series, the Vivo X200 Series. The phone will debut in China first, around November of this year. Many tech and photography enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the Vivo X200 Series since the smartphones will heavily focus on imaging, as mentioned in previous articles. Today, we finally got our first glimpse of a potentially leaked prototype design of the Vivo X200 Pro.
Vivo X200 Series Design Leaked
In the past, everyone has been very critical of Vivo for not changing the front design of their flagships. Vivo heard the feedback, and the front design of the Vivo X200 Series will see a major change. A prototype of the Vivo X200 Pro was leaked today on the Chinese social networking site Weibo, revealing that the device will feature a micro quad-curved display on the front. This will be the first time Vivo adopts such a design.
The benefit of having a micro quad-curved screen is that it can give you the feel of both a flat screen and a curved screen phone. Since the curves are very minimal, there won’t be any accidental touches, which everyone complains about with curved screens. Overall, the front design of the Vivo X200 Pro will be very similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is much better than the current X100 Pro.
On the back, the device continues to have a large, centered circular camera bump with the LED flash outside of it. The frame has been changed to a right-angle flat frame.
Regarding the vanilla Vivo X200, it will have a similar back design as the Vivo X200 Pro, but the front design will be completely different. It will feature a 6.4-inch flat display design. It is evident that the phone is aimed at a small-screen audience, similar to the Xiaomi 15. The smartphones will debut in China in November, with a global launch expected as early as January.
