Although it has only been a few months since the launch of the Apple iPhone 16 lineup, discussions about the upcoming iPhone 17 series are already generating excitement. While the iPhone 16 series offered some incremental upgrades over its predecessor, the iPhone 17 series is anticipated to bring substantial improvements. Notably, rumors indicate that the upcoming models may include features like a ProMotion 120Hz display for the base models, which could significantly enhance the user experience. These enhancements could help Apple further solidify its position in the highly competitive smartphone market.
A new recent report shares the concept images of the upcoming iPhone 17 series devices from the front and there are some noticeable changes to it. Let’s see what.
Apple iPhone 17 series concept images reveals slimmer bezels and smaller Dynamic Island
It took Apple a lot of time to shift from old style notch to a new and better version – the Dynamic Island. The brand is now working to make it as smaller as possible to give more space to the display and it is visible in the recently shared concept images.
As per the concept images, the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 17 series will be relatively smaller in size when compared to its predecessor. This is not all. The images also reveals slimmer bezels around the panel. The combination of smaller Dynamic Island and slimmer bezels on the display is surely going to enhance the overall content consumption and viewing experience of the users.
While the smaller Dynamic Island may be beneficial for some, a lot of users have reported on social media that this new version of Dynamic Island looks “odd” and “less appealing.”
The concept images also confirm the presence of physical buttons. Apple’s famous action button, alongside volume controllers, can be seen on the left side panel whereas the power button is on the right panel. The antenna lines can be also seen on the sides if looked at carefully.
The back panel design of the iPhone 17 series was also leaked recently which reveals a brief redesign and a design that looks very similar to the Google Pixel smartphones. Keeping it aside, all the rumours and leaks hint at a major design change in the upcoming series.
