First device to be released with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset has been revealed. MediaTek’s upcoming flagship chipset, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 will have performance to rival the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. According to the information we have received today, we can say that vivo X100 series will be released in November and devices will be released with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 flagship chipset. vivo X100 series will be introduced next month and whole world will be first to meet MediaTek Dimensity 9300.
vivo X100 is first device to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9300!
If you remember, in the past months we have identified important information about vivo X100 and shared it with you. According to the information currently available, first two models of vivo X100 series; vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro will be launched with MediaTek Dimensity 9300, but vivo X100 Pro+ is scheduled for a later launch and is probably to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In addition, there is also news that MediaTek will launch the Dimensity 9300 between October 30 and November 5. Previously, MediaTek officially confirmed that next-generation Dimensity 9300 platform will utilize ARM’s latest Cortex-X4 ultra-large core and Cortex-A720 large core.
This means higher performance than the previous generation, as well as up to 40% lower power consumption. Cortex-X4 cores on Dimensity 9300 can reach a 3.25 GHz. CPU comes with 1x Cortex-X4 + 3x Cortex-X4 + 4x Cortex-A720 cores/clock rates setup. On the GPU side, there is the Immortalis G720 MC12 available. Dimensity 9300 platform is first chipset to utilize 4x ARM Cortex-X4 cores on a single platform. This core setup reportedly increases performance by 15% and reduces power consumption by 40% compared to a single Cortex-X3 core setup.
In addition, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 reportedly outperformed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in AnTuTu V8 benchmark test. In benchmark, GPU score is reportedly a bit high, but CPU score is quite high. However, there is a no information about energy consumption performance and temperatures of MediaTek Dimensity 9300. Also Mediatek Dimensity 9300 has undergone the N4P (4nm) manufacturing process by TSMC. It’s also reported that N4P (4nm) manufacturing process can improve performance by 11% or increase energy efficiency by 22% and transistor density by 6% compared to N5 (5nm) manufacturing process.
