We all know the fiasco that took place with the rollout of One UI 7 based on Android 15. It was unusually delayed to the point that Samsung became one of the last brands to rollout Android 15. But don’t worry, the brand isn’t going to make the same mistake with the release of the new One UI powered by Android 16, as a recent report suggests that the stable One UI 8 may arrive on the Galaxy S25 Ultra much sooner than expected.

A stable One UI 8 build intended for the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra, with firmware version BYFB, has surfaced online. The beta builds are labeled “Z”, while the stable builds are labeled “B”. This suggests that Samsung is not far from releasing the stable build for its flagship device. The official rollout may occur after the Unpacked event on July 9.

As expected, the One UI 8 does not bring any “significant” changes to the software, but it rather makes it more polished and better. However, some minor features and customization options have been added.
