Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event later this month. While Chinese smartphone manufacturers have managed to offer some interesting design on their foldables, Samsung’s foldable phones had a noticeable gap in the hinge.

Leaked images, shared by tech blogger Ahmad Qwaider, reveal that new Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature a completely no gap design when folded, marking a significant improvement over its predecessor. The rumors suggest that Z Fold 5 might come with stereo speakers and a 4 microphones.
The leaked photos also reveal that the camera setup of the Z Fold 5 will still consist of a triple camera arrangement, but the LED flash has been relocated to the side of the camera setup instead of being positioned underneath compared to the predecessor.
If the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will be unveiled prior to the official launch of Snapdragon Gen 3, it is highly likely that these devices will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. According to previous leaks, the Z Fold 5 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED outer screen, a 7.6-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED inner screen, an IPX7 water resistance rating, a built-in 4400mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, wireless fast charging, Samsung DeX, Samsung Pay, and other exclusive Samsung features.
