Huawei Freebuds SE 2 unveiled in China, global launch to take place soon.

Huawei has introduced the Huawei Freebuds SE 2 in China, offering a new and budget-friendly option for wireless earbuds priced at 179 Yuan. While initially available in China, there is a possibility that these earbuds will also be released in the global market, similar to the Freebuds SE model which is already available worldwide.

Huawei Freebuds SE 2 model is exclusively offered in the color “Ceramic White.” Notably, the charging case of these earbuds features LEDs that change color based on the remaining charge, providing users with a convenient way to monitor battery levels.

Huawei Freebuds SE 2 does not incorporate active noise cancellation technology. Nevertheless, it supports SBC and AAC codecs. With each earbud containing a 41 mAh battery and the charging case boasting a 510 mAh battery, users can have up to 9 hours of media playback on a single earbud charge. Utilizing the charging case extends the playback time to a 40 hours.

Huawei Freebuds SE 2 is splash-proof and carries an IP54 certification, making it resistant to minor water splashes. However, Huawei advises users to handle the device with care, even with its splash-proof certificate.

In China, Freebuds SE 2 is currently available for purchase at the price of CNY 179, approximately equivalent to USD 25. We don’t know the exact launch date of the global launch has yet to be revealed.
