iQOO prepares for the imminent release of its upgraded iQOO 12 smartphone series, promising high-end features at competitive prices. The launch is scheduled in China on November 7th, with a subsequent official release in international markets. The device reveals two distinct color options: Black and White. The White variant showcases a glossy finish on its rear panel, while the Black model boasts a matte finish. Render images display a squircle-shaped camera bump housing three rear cameras. Notably, the camera bump specifies “100X Tele Zoom,” indicating the presence of a telephoto lens supporting up to 100X digital zoom. Additionally, there’s speculation about a partnership between iQOO and BMW, hinted by the presence of BMW-colored icons and the text “Fascination Meets Innovation” positioned alongside the iQOO logo. The device showcases a curved frame, and it is expected to feature support for true dual stereo speakers, evident from the speaker grille located on the top frame.
The product manager for iQOO previously said that the smartphones in the iQOO 12 series have “enhanced performance and a more refined design.” These devices are equipped with the e-sports chip Q1, which has a screen that can handle a 144Hz refresh rate, and iQOO’s largest “X,” which is almost twice as large.
