While the exact release date of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is yet to be confirmed, the rumors suggest that it will be unveiled earlier than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Once it’s been launched, the vivo X100 series phones are expected to be among the first devices to feature this new chipset.

Of course, the real curiosity is not the vivo X100 series, but the Dimensity 9300’s brand new CPU architecture. MediaTek Dimensity 9300 has only two types of cores. The chipset has 4 Cortex-X4 and 4 Cortex-A720 cores. Both X4 and A720 are performance-oriented cores.

On May 29th, ARM introduced the Cortex-X4 core, which has now been integrated into the Dimensity 9300 chipset. You can visit ARM’s official website here: Arm Cortex-X4 advances frontiers of CPU performance

The rumors claim that the power efficiency of MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is reported to be 50% better than its predecessor, the 9200. Dimensity 9300 stands out as one of the most intriguing processors in the Android world with its prime and big cores only architecture.
