OnePlus has just unveiled its latest compact flagship smartphone in India, dubbed the “OnePlus 13s.” The device shares many features with China’s OnePlus 13T. Now, the brand is preparing to launch the Nord 5 series. Initially, the OnePlus Nord 5 was rumored to be a rebranded version of the recently released OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, but leaked specs suggest otherwise. The launch date has also been hinted at.
OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 is set to launch on July 8th
Popular tipster HeyItsYogesh has shared an exclusive information about the upcoming Nord 5 series on his X/Twitter handle. As per the post, the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 will hit the Indian market on July 8th. He did not reveal any other information about the device.
However, the OnePlus Nord 5 was recently listed on the Geekbench certification with the model number CPH2707. For reference, the Ace 5 Racing Edition has the model number CPH2709. The Geekbench confirms that the Nord 5 will feature Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
The company has also released an official teaser which gives us our first glimpse of the OnePlus Nord 5. In terms of the design, it looks very similar compared to the Ace 5 Racing Edition. It has a pill shaped camera module that houses dual rear cameras and an LED light. It is expected to pack a huge 7000mAh battery with the support of 80W SUPERVOOC charging.
