OPPO A2 Pro leaks reveal premium design at low price

OPPO A2 Pro had previously appeared on Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website, and now, some of the phone’s technical specifications have emerged on Weibo by a tech blogger. MIIT usually reveals some specs of the phones even before their release. OPPO A2 Pro will be a mid-range and low-end category phone, set to be released with an affordable price tag. What makes OPPO A2 Pro stand out is the offering of a premium design at a budget-friendly price. The phone will feature a curved OLED screen as it appears on the initial images.

We call the design of OPPO A2 Pro is premium because both the back cover and the screen have a slight curve for a better grip and viewing. OPPO A2 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch 2412×1080 FHD resolution screen with 2160 Hz PWM dimming. The phone comes with a triple camera setup, resembling the camera setup of OnePlus 11, but the cameras on OPPO A2 Pro are positioned in the middle.

The phone with the model number “PJG110” was spotted on the Chinese government website earlier than this. As we’ve previously mentioned, the phone will fall into the low-end and mid-range categories and feature a curved screen, despite its affordable price.

Other specifications of the phone are not yet available, but we do not expect it to be a highly compelling device. We anticipate it to offer mediocre camera performance and mid-range overall performance. However, the design of the phone, as seen in the photos, is quite attractive. We will share more information about the upcoming device in the future.
