Oppo is gearing up to release its two most anticipated devices, Oppo Find N5 and Find X8 Ultra very soon in China. The smartphones are already leaked have some of the best specifications on the market. Now we have another confirmation on a feature that will make these devices even more appealing.
Previously Oppo flagship devices were criticized for not having a telephoto macro function. But this will be changing starting with Oppo Find N5 and Find X8 Ultra.
As per latest leaks, the Oppo Find N5 and Find X8 Ultra will feature a telephoto macro function. This means users can now capture both macro and zoom shots using periscope cameras thanks to the short focal distance of the lenses.
The Find N5 will be equipped with Hasselblad backed triple 50 MP cameras with a dedicated periscope sensor. Whereas the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will have a quad camera system, the main camera to be the same as the previous generation LYT 900 1 inch module, 50MP IMX 882 Ultrawide, 50MP IMX 882 6x periscope camera which is an upgrade over previous generation IMX 858 periscope on Find X7 Ultra and the 3x 50MP IMX 906 periscope sensor.
Launch Timeline
Oppo Find N5 will be released in February whereas Find X8 Ultra will be introduced in March. Both the smartphones will launch in China first, with global launch still in speculation.
