OPPO Find N5 won’t be launching in European market

OPPO recently unveiled its next-generation foldable smartphone, the OPPO Find N5, in China. The device quickly grabbed attention thanks to its advanced features and sleek design. To put it into perspective, even though it’s a foldable phone, it’s as thick as an iPhone 16 Pro Max when folded, which is pretty impressive. However, the company has confirmed that the Find N5 won’t be launching in Europe, which is disappointing news for fans in that region.

No OPPO Find N5 in Europe, brand confirms

OPPO has officially confirmed to the YouTube channel ‘Tech Chap’ that they won’t be bringing the OPPO Find N5 to the European market. If you’re hoping that OnePlus might step in and release the same device under its own name, here’s a reminder: OnePlus has also decided not to launch a foldable phone this year. So, for now, it looks like European fans will have to wait a bit longer for a foldable device from these brands.

In an official response, the brand’s representative says that “We carefully tailor our product launches to each region based on in-depth market research and strategic priorities. The Find N5 will not be launching in Europe. Instead, in Q1 2025, we will introduce the Reno13 series across Europe on February 24, offering consumers more choices with cutting-edge AI features and stylish, trend-forward designs. Stay tuned for updates.”

In short, OPPO hasn’t given a clear reason for scrapping the plan to launch the Find N5 in Europe. The company simply mentioned that their products are designed to suit different regions, and after thorough market research, they’ve decided not to release the device in that market.
