Following its successful launch in China, the highly waited OPPO Reno10 series is now gearing up for its global release. However, recent leaks have revealed that the global Reno10 series may have differences compared to its Chinese units in terms of specifications and design.
OPPO Reno10 series in Europe
A tech blogger on Twitter shared the specsheet of the European model of OPPO Reno10 Pro and it comes with a different chipset than the Chinese variant of OPPO Reno10 Pro. In addition, there are minor differences not only in the internals but also in the design of the phone.
Render images of the OPPO Reno10 Pro, which is set to be launched in Europe, have also been unveiled by the leaker. Among the provided images, the right one represents the European variant, while the left one is the Chinese variant.
While the camera array has slight dissimilarities, the core camera specifications remain the same as those found in the Chinese model. This includes a powerful main camera with 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a telephoto camera with 32MP 1/2.74-inch sized sensor , and an ultrawide angle camera 8MP 1/4.0-inch.
The primary disparity lies in the chipset and charging capabilities. European variant will support 80W fast charging, whereas Chinese OPPO Reno10 Pro boasts 100W fast charging. They pack the same 4600 mAh battery though.
European model is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 778G chipset, while Chinese variant is powered by Dimensity 8200. It is worth noting that Snapdragon 778G adopts an older 6nm manufacturing process, compared to Dimensity 8200’s newer 4nm process.
The tech blogger on Twitter claims that the display specs are also different compared to the Chinese variant, but this information is not yet confirmed. Stay tuned for further updates on the release of OPPO Reno10 Pro in Europe. Note that Reno10 series will be available globally including Europe and India.
