The global unit of POCO recently announced the closure of its website. They later informed the user that the POCO global website is going to be merged with Xiaomi’s official website along with all the data. This was a big move. And now, the brand has launched its new budget-oriented smartphone, the POCO C75. The gadget has many interesting specifications along with the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is rare to see nowadays.
POCO C75 with MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra, 6.88-inch display launched
Being a budget device, the POCO C75 offers some decent specifications. To start, it packs a 6.88-inch display which the brand addresses as a “cinema-view” display. It has a 720P 1640*720 pixel resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate support. The brand claims that the panel can reach 450 nits of brightness manually and 600 nits in high-brightness mode (HBM). The panel is also capable of adjusting its refresh rate dynamically to save battery life. The display is also certified by TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and flicker-free certification.

Under the hood, the gadget is powered by MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset. The chip has Mali-G52 MC2 GPU coupled with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage type. It comes in two different variants. One has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM, whereas the other has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also includes 16GB of memory extension that allows the user to use a certain portion of the device’s internal storage as RAM.
The gadget further packs a 5160mAh battery with the support of 18W fast wired charging. As per POCO, the device can last up to 21 days in stand mode and can give up to 139 hours of usage time on music playback.

Talking about the cameras, it has dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel primary wide lens and a secondary unknown sensor. POCO says that the device is packed with numerous software-based camera features such as HDR, portrait mode, night mode and film camera to give the best possible experience to its users. On the front, we have a 13-megapixel selfie sensor that also gets some software-optimized features.
Coming down to the price, the POCO C75 is officially listed on Xiaomi’s global website in two different variants. The 6GB RAM has an early bird pricing of $109 while the 8GB variant has an early bird price of $129. The price may increase in future.
