POCO has been teasing its new performance-oriented smartphone, the POCO F7, since the last few days. The company has now finally launched the product in India. It comes with many interesting features such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a dual rear camera setup with 50-megapixel primary lens and a huge 7,550mAh battery. POCO F7: Specifications & Features
The POCO F7 packs a huge 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ pixel resolution. It has 120Hz high refresh rate support, 480Hz touch sampling rate and upto 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The panel also gets a new Wet Touch Display 2.0 which makes it usable even with the wet hands.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The chipset has the peak clock speed of 3.21 GHz and is claimed to offer up to 49-percent improved gaming performance compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. It comes with LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage support.
As for the cameras, it packs a dual rear camera setup with 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 wide lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For the selfies, it has a 20-megapixel front shooter.
The POCO F7 packs a massive 7,550mAh battery with the support of 90W fast wired charging. The device is also capable of reverse charging other devices at 22.5W. Additional specifications includes IP66/IP68/IP69 rating, dual stereo-speakers, optical fingerprint scanner and 4+6 years of software support.
POCO F7: Pricing and Availability
The POCO F7 comes in two different variants. Both variants have a similar 12GB RAM but with different 256GB and 512GB storage options. The 256GB variant is priced at INR 31,999 and the 512GB variant is priced at INR 33,999. It will be available for sale starting 1st July 12 noon via Flipkart.
