Redmi K80 Pro to Sport Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, 2K AMOLED Display

The Xiaomi group is soon going to drop its banger smartphones in the market. The flagship Xiaomi 15 series is also scheduled to launch in October. The sub-brand Redmi is also working on its flagship killer, the Redmi K80 Pro device.  It is also stated to launch very soon in the Chinese market.

But before any official announcement, we have some specifications of it leaked online. And per the rumours, it feels like a solid device.

Redmi K80 Pro to feature 50MP Telephoto, 2K resolution display

As per the latest rumour, the Redmi K80 Pro is in its last stage of testing and the launch is stated to happen soon. The device is also said to feature some really interesting specifications. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

Going further, the device will have a 2K resolution AMOLED display and it’s going to be a flat panel. There will be minimal bezels around the screen and it will have centre centre-aligned punch-hole cutout for the housing of the selfie camera.

For cameras, it will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary wide sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. There’s no information on the tertiary lens, but it is mostly going to be an ultrawide lens having the same 50-megapixel resolution.  The cameras will be housed in a circular module. The module would be located in the upper left corner of the rear panel. This looks very much like the Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro.

Further, it will probably boot up on HyperOS 2.0 right out of the box. It will also have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for an added layer of security. So that’s wrap up what we know about the upcoming Redmi K80 Pro in terms of specifications and features. More details are awaited.
