Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has just announced its next generation flagship series, the Redmi K80 Series in China.The smartphones come with the cutting edge hardware at not so expensive price. As of now the phone is currently available for sale in China with a global launch planned later. Let’s take a look at detailed specs and pricing.
Redmi K80
Redmi K80 features 6.67 inch 2K 120hz LTPS M9 display from TCL. This display is very impressive with top of the peripheral specifications such as 1800nits HBM of brightness, advanced eye protection, Dolby Vision etc. The smartphone comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship processor offering incredible performance and efficiency. The battery capacity is also very impressive at 6550mah paired with 90W fast wired charging. The overall design language features a glass back design and metal frame. Another highlighting feature of Redmi K80 is that it also comes with IP68/IP69 and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Redmi K80 features a dual camera setup with 50MP primary Light Hunter 800 and 8MP Ultrawide. The main camera supports OIS.
Redmi K80 Pro
Redmi K80 Pro also features the same 6.67 inch 2K 120hz LTPS M9 display as vanilla K80. The smartphone comes with the latest and the greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship processor paired with an independent D1 chip offering incredible gaming performance and efficiency. The Antutu score of Redmi K80 Pro is almost touching 3.2M points. The battery capacity is also very impressive at 6000mah paired with 120W fast wired and 50W wireless charging. The overall design language is the same as K80, featuring a glass back design and metal frame. Redmi K80 Pro also comes with IP68/IP69, Xiaomi’s longjing glass 2.0 and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
However this year, the imaging of Redmi K80 Pro has evolved massively over previous generations. It features a 50MP 1/1.56 inch Light Hunter 800 main camera + 50MP 2.5x floating telephoto lens offering both close-up and distance shots. The third lens is a 32MP Ultrawide camera. Both the main and telephoto cameras are equipped with OIS. The telephoto camera is equipped with Xiaomi AISP algorithm for 5x loseless zoom quality.
All phones come with LPDDR5X Ram and UFS 4.0 Storage, dual stereo speakers and HyperOs 2.0 based on Android 15.

The global launch of Redmi K80 Series is planned but it will be released with Poco branding i.e Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra.
