Xiaomi is all ready to launch its Redmi K80 Ultra device in mainland China. Back in November last year, the firm launched the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro device and since then, fans were awaiting the launch of Ultra variant. It is expected that the device will be launched later this year. But before moving to launch, some of its specifications have been leaked online. It reveals some interesting upgrade.
Redmi K80 Ultra rumoured specifications hints at major battery upgrade
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some exclusive insights regarding the Redmi K80 Ultra device on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. As per him, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, a flagship smartphone chipset. He also claims that the device will get a flat OLED panel with slim bezels all around the screen. The screen will have 1.5K pixel resolution.
Further, the tipster says that it will have 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. In terms of build and design, the device is said to feature a metal frame which will give it a premium touch. It will be IP68 dust and waster resistance certified too.
But what’s more interesting is the battery capacity. The tipster says that the device’s battery capacity will not be any less than 6500mAh. This is a huge upgrade given that its predecessor, the K70 Ultra, has a 5500mAh battery. Thanks to the advance silicon-carbon battery technology, we are getting bigger and bigger battery capacities in smartphones.
