Redmi recently launched its Note 14 lineup of smartphones in China. The devices are decent for their price, and now the brand is working to launch them on the overseas market. The India division of Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Redmi Note 14 series in the country. The launch is happening next month i.e., December 2024.
Redmi Note 14 series to launch in India on 9th of December
In an official social media post, Xiaomi has confirmed that its Redmi Note 14 series will launch in India on December 9th, 2024. The brand has been teasing the device for the last few days and now they have finally revealed the launch date. But don’t get too excited, the firm has not revealed any other details. Be it the specs of the sales date, everything remains unknown for now. However, Xiaomi usually doesn’t take much time to make its device accessible for buying after the launch.
Moreover, the brand has emphasized “AI features” and “game-changing camera innovations” in the teaser post. AI features are now become a trend and almost every other smartphone brand, including Xiaomi, is packing AI features with its device. Concerning cameras, the teaser hints towards a hardware-level camera upgrade on its upcoming devices.
Xiaomi has also not revealed whether all the models; Redmi Note 14, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Plus are going to be launched or not. But since they are teasing the launch in the name of the “Note 14 series”, there will be at least two models at the launch.
Talking about the specifications, the Redmi Note 14 Chinese variant has a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz high refresh rate support. It is backed by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor. It has a 50-megapixel primary wide sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. For battery, it will pack a 5000mAh battery with the support of 45W fast charging support.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to get the same 6.67-inch display but with an AMOLED panel. The refresh rate support will remain similar at 120Hz. However, this one may get the support of Dolby Vision. In terms of cameras, it may get a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary lens. There may be a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
