Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is spotted on FCC revaling some specs, expect the launch soon

Samsung, one of the leading companies in the smartwatch world, is getting ready to unveil their latest watch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. Continuing the tradition of Samsung’s line of smartwatches, we can expect the introduction of two distinct models: the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will be available in two different sizes: 40mm and 44mm. The FCC listing reveals that the 40mm variant carries the model number SM-R930, while the 44mm version has a model number of SM-R940.

Galaxy Watch 6 will feature Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/a support, and a GNSS GPS locating system. The wireless charger for Galaxy Watch 6 bears the same model number (ER-OR900) as the charger for Galaxy Watch 5. Although the battery capacity has not been disclosed, it is expected to be similar to that of the Watch 5.

Previously, renders of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic were shared by MySmartPrice, showcasing a 1.47-inch display with a resolution of 470×470 and a 425mAh battery. While visual representations of the Classic variant are available, no images of the standard model have surfaced yet.

It should be noted that the FCC listing does not provide an extensive specification sheet. This leaves us curious about the processor that will power the Galaxy Watch 6 and the expected battery life of the new device. As soon as further details become available, we will share them with you.
