Samsung is finally introducing its long-awaited tri-fold foldable smartphone. It is expected to be released alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. It may be referred to as the “Galaxy G Fold.” However, before any official confirmation, the tri-fold device’s design was recently spotted on the One UI 8 build.

Here’s how the Galaxy G Fold, the Samsung’s Tri-Fold device may look like
The team over at Android Authority have spotted the design render of the upcoming Samsung’s Tri-Fold smartphone. As we can see, the device has two hinges on the front. The device folds leftmost and rightmost screens inward. The central portion houses the screen whereas the leftmost and rightmost portion has the design elements.
When unfolded, it has a huge screen with a small selfie camera that’s housed on the right-hand side of the screen. The company has reportedly ditched the plan to use under-display camera module.
The camera module seems to be very similar to the recently leaked design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Previous rumours suggest that Galaxy G Fold is going to have 9.96-inch display and weighs 298 grams. When fully folded, it is going to be 6.54-inches taller. The company also seems to be shifting towards thinner design language.
