The Vivo T2 Pro is a 5G-enabled smartphone offering an array of features for an excellent mobile experience. With its slim design, vibrant display, high refresh rate, and a powerful chipset, it’s well-equipped for modern smartphone tasks. The primary camera is a standout with OIS, but the lack of NFC and the absence of a 3.5mm audio jack might disappoint some users. Still, it’s a solid choice for those who want a feature-rich device with 5G capabilities.

Network and Connectivity

The Vivo T2 Pro supports a wide range of network technologies, including GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G, ensuring fast data speeds and reliable connectivity for both standard data usage and the latest 5G applications.

Design and Build

The smartphone has a slim and sleek design, with dimensions of 164.1 x 74.8 x 7.4 mm and a weight of 175 g. It supports dual Nano-SIM cards for versatile connectivity and offers splash resistance for added durability.

The Vivo T2 Pro features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with support for 1 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. The peak brightness of 1300 nits ensures vibrant and clear visuals even in bright outdoor conditions. The 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution results in a pixel density of approximately 388 ppi, providing sharp and detailed images.

Performance and Software

Running on Android 13 with Vivo’s Funtouch 13 UI, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. It features an octa-core CPU, with two Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The Mali-G610 MC4 GPU handles graphics and ensures smooth performance.

Memory and Storage

The Vivo T2 Pro is available in configurations with either 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM or 256GB of internal storage with 8GB of RAM. These specifications are ideal for multitasking and storage of apps, media, and files.

On the rear, the Vivo T2 Pro boasts a dual-camera setup, featuring a 64 MP wide-angle primary camera with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as a 2 MP depth sensor. The camera includes features like Ring-LED flash, panorama, and HDR. It can record videos in 4K at 30fps with gyro-EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization).

For selfies, there’s a 16 MP wide-angle front camera capable of recording videos at 1080p at 30fps.

Connectivity and Features

The device offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac for fast wireless internet access, supporting dual-band connectivity. It also features Bluetooth 5.3, providing high-quality audio streaming. Precise location services are available through GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS.

It’s important to note that this device lacks NFC for contactless communication and an FM radio.

The Vivo T2 Pro uses USB Type-C 2.0 for data transfer and charging and supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality.

Audio and Battery

The device features a loudspeaker for multimedia and gaming audio. However, it does not include a 3.5mm audio jack. Instead, it supports high-quality audio with 24-bit/192kHz audio output.

The smartphone is powered by a non-removable 4600 mAh Li-Ion battery, ensuring extended use between charges. It supports 66W wired fast charging, allowing for rapid charging, with advertised claims of reaching 50% charge in just 22 minutes.
