Full Details

The famous Chinese Blogger Digital Chat Station shared some new information regarding Vivo X200 Ultra on Weibo. He said that Vivo’s next ultra flagship will no longer be using a 1 inch primary sensor for optics, and rather adopt a brand new 50MP 1/1.3 inch sensor. This is a major change in the imaging of X200 Ultra from its predecessors which have used 1 inch sensors. For starters, the X200 Pro has also replaced the 1 inch camera with a new 1/1.28 inch sensor. However the blogger has mentioned that the new sensor will be far beyond 1 inch, implying that the sensor technology could be better than current one inch sensors. The exact details regarding the new sensor are currently unknown. The other specifications include 200MP 1/1.4 inch periscope camera and 50MP Ultrawide camera.

Vivo X200 Ultra will get a major refresh in its display, featuring a 6.82 inch 2K 120HZ 8T LTPO display from BOE. The display will be changed to micro quad curved screen design with narrow bezels all around something which we already have seen on Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. The Vivo X200 Ultra will also have a Ultra large Blue Ocean battery with an expected capacity of 6000mah.

Launch Timeline

Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to be announced in late Q1,2025 in China. The global launch of X200 Ultra is currently uncertain since this year’s Vivo X100 Ultra is also China Exclusive. We will keep an eye on this so stay tuned.
